Duane competed as a two sport Division I student-athlete in college. He has been a varsity lacrosse coach in Pennsylvania for well over a decade where he guided teams to State playoffs, as well as multiple conference and section championships. He also was the Director of Lacrosse at a nationally recognized club program that sent over 50 players to the collegiate level the last five years. He has a son and daughter who both went to play lacrosse collegiality and both competed in multiple NCAA playoffs. His son won a Division II National Championship in 2012 with Dowling in Long Island. He has since recently moved to Richmond Hill from Pennsylvania and helps with the Richmond Hill High School Lacrosse Team.
