Coach Rosecrans is from Syracuse, NY and started playing lacrosse in 9th grade for Liverpool High School. In 1997, he attended Herkimer Community College and went on to earn a Division 1 scholarship to Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. After graduating from Butler in 2001 with a degree in Secondary Education, Coach Rosecrans was hired as Butler’s assistant where he coached until 2004. After a short stint as head coach at Greensboro Day School in Greensboro, NC, he moved to Charleston in 2005. In 2007 he started the Wando High School program where he coached until 2010. During that time in 2008, he played in the MLL for the LA Riptide. From 2010-2013, he became an instructor for US Lacrosse’s Coaches Development Program until serving as the head coach of the Citadel from 2013-2015. Coach Rosecrans is currently a Co-Director of the Top Left Lacrosse Program and works at Meeting Street Academy as the Director of Athletics while teaching Physical Education. “Since moving to Charleston, my goal has been to introduce and grow the sport of lacrosse throughout the community. I am excited to coach at Oceanside Collegiate Academy because it provides opportunities for players to participate in a game that they have come to love.”
