Box (Indoor) Lacrosse is a different sport than field lacrosse, but they each greatly benefit the other. Box is played indoors, and there are only 5 players on each team out at once instead of 9. The game is a lot like hockey or basketball. Box lacrosse is fast-paced and demands more strategy because of the smaller field space and smaller goal.
